The Barceloneta is a singular neighborhood in Barcelona, the historical conditions and development have created a very rigid and very modular plan that just vanishes itself near the sea line, which it is also altered a lot by the city development.
The project, consisting of a continuation of residential units, which is the main activity in the area, accomplishes two goals; it’s fully integrated in the existing master plan and it doesn’t create any disruption with singular elements or strange unconnected units.
At the same time controls the finishing shape of the neighborhood and creates a much more unitary coast sight.
This way the project is a part of the master plan but at the same time it gives the plan a unitary consistency
